How to play Guess the race
An Uma Musume race quiz: the card of a G1, G2 or G3 race of the career shows up with one thing hidden, and you say which race it is, where it is run, how long it is or when it comes in the career.
How to play
- Pick the level and the mode, then press Start.
- Read the race card: grade, racetrack, distance, surface, direction and when it runs. The question mark is what you are asked: pick it from the options or, on Hard, type the race’s name.
- Once you answer, the whole card shows, with a link to the race’s page. Classic and the daily challenge have 20 questions.
Difficulty levels
- Easy
- Four options and only the G1 races.
- Normal
- Six closer options, and the G2 races too.
- Hard
- The G3 races too: type the race’s name, eight options otherwise.
The daily challenge is always Normal.
Questions
- Which races come up?
- The G1 races on Easy, the G2 ones too on Normal and the G3 ones too on Hard: every race of the career calendar with that grade, under its official name in Global. The wrong options come from all of them.
- What do the dates mean?
- When the race is run in the career: the year (Junior, Classic or Senior; some run in both the Classic and the Senior year) and the half of the month, as on the races calendar.
- When does the daily challenge change?
- Every day at midnight UTC. It is the same for everyone, always on Normal, and you get one try.
- How does scoring work?
- In Classic and the daily challenge each right answer is worth 100 points; in Time attack (60 seconds), Streak and Climb your hits count. Each level and version keeps its own best; Climb, which goes through all three levels, keeps one per version.
- Can I share my result?
- Yes: at the end, "Share result" makes a text with your score, a square per question (green when you got it) and the game's link, without giving the answers away.
- Can I challenge a friend?
- Yes: after any run but the daily challenge, «Challenge a friend» gives you a link with your score. Whoever opens it plays the same questions in the same order, at the same level and in the same version, and sees who did better. The link carries it all; nothing is saved anywhere else.
- Where are my scores kept?
- Only in this browser: bests, daily challenges done and day streaks. No account needed, and nothing is sent anywhere.
- Do I need to pay or sign up?
- No. The games are free, need no account and work on mobile.
